This is potentially an exciting self-produced project, The Vinyl Film. Originally meant to launch last spring, it suffered a number of setbacks. The project is now permanently on hold.
The Vinyl Film was set to follow the story of six individuals, three film artists and three vinyl artists; seeking to understand the how and why of their mediums. But more see how their art works into their lifestyles.
Featured here, the talented Christopher Wilock. We shot this in his hometown of Chicago but he’s now moved out West to document rock climbers (I’m rather jealous). Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy what he has to say about film.
